The Children's Cradle, opening

Within the cradle, the children slept, as soon as they began to sing there was war.  The children began dismantling their cradle.  The cradle could no longer keep the children as they were; some went deep within the cradle into caverns of iron and steel, some fled to the wilds praying their very beginnings would save them, the rest cast off the cradle as they went to the skies.  Now the children sing again and war begins anew
